Monticello

Two UVA (University of Virginia) freshmen are walking around the campus trying to get oriented when they pass a statue of Thomas Jefferson listing the dates of his birth and death (1743-1826). One student turns to the other and says, "I didn't realize he had died". Such is the continuing influence of Thomas Jefferson on the City of Charlottesville. - Reader's Digest, "Top 50 Best Places to Raise a Family," 1997

These pictures were actually taken during two trips to Monticello. One with Scott's parents and the other with Dawn and Laurie.
